**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Research and identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other funding sources.

5. Build and maintain positive relationships with funding organizations and donors.

6. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and changes in grant regulations.

**Qualifications**:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (English, Communications, Non-profit Management, etc.) or equivalent experience.

2. Proven experience in grant writing for non-profit organizations, with a successful track record of securing funding.

3. Strong research and analytical skills to identify suitable grant opportunities.

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.

6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.

7. Familiarity with the not-for-profit sector and issues related to inclusion is an asset.

8. A satisfactory and current criminal records check.

**How to Apply**:
**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
