Osler is currently recruiting for a Legal Talent Specialist to join our Legal Talent department in the Toronto office. This position plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of employment services for legal professionals.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Proactively executing on employment service programs for legal professionals including leave of absences, office and client secondments, transfers, status changes, onboarding, and departures
- Conducting full-cycle recruitment for legal professionals, including drafting job ads, coordinating approvals, implementing recruitment strategies, driving the interview and offer process, and conducting reference checks
- Acting as a primary point of contact for legal professionals on employment services, policies, and recruitment matters
- Organizing and coordinating various team building events for legal professionals
- Supporting the performance management processes for legal professionals
- Developing, maintaining, and updating national talent management template letters/memos as well as protocols and checklists impacting our legal professionals
- Participating in and leading various projects and programs related to legal professionals
- Performing other duties as assigned

**Education and Experience**

This position requires a post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related discipline plus a minimum of three years’ relevant experience ideally gained in professional services or a law firm. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.

- Stellar organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong interpersonal, listening and communication skills
- Client service oriented with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Technologically savvy with proficiency in the full Microsoft Suite, Outlook, SharePoint and ViRecruit

We are currently working in a hybrid work arrangement, which includes a requirement to work partially in the office.
