Canada Rail Vacations is looking for an individual to join our small team for summer 2024 as a Trip Planning Assistant This is an evening and weekends position only (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday from 1 pm to 9 pm). This job will be in person at our office in Kensington in Calgary.

- Has exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Is experienced with MS Office, predominantly Excel
- Has experience with Gmail
- Can work independently, and is a quick-learner
- Must be highly organized and can adapt to fast-changing priorities

Some responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

- Verifying client bookings for accuracy, contacting suppliers for confirmations
- Filing, preparing, maintaining, and managing outgoing guest documents
- Updating client records
- Team support for any other miscellaneous tasks

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person
