RenoRun was born in 2016 with the insight that contractors spend too much time away from their job sites by going to the store to procure materials. Before building out the concept, the co-founders—three construction industry veterans—would sit in different hardware store parking lots around Montreal in the winter, with Tim Horton's coffees, and notebooks in hand. They kept count of anyone coming out in work boots, plus vans and pickup trucks, and compared notes at the end of the day. This was their "customer."

After noticing that there were roughly 2,000 contractors per hour circulating hardware stores in Montreal, they decided to set out on a crusade to better serve them, and to unleash them from the unpleasantries that had been normalized in the construction industry.

**We are looking for a **Human Resource (HR) Generalist** to join our People team as an integral member, assisting our People team with all aspects of Human Resources and Culture. You'll be working alongside experienced team members, supporting and learning all aspects of the functions.**:
**Your typical day includes**:

- **Owning** - You will be managing a variety of platforms and processes, not only ensuring they deliver on time, but continually looking for efficiencies by tweaking and improving them
- **Driving** - Our culture is our life-blood. As part of the People team, you will be part of the team responsible for analsying, strategising and developing all aspects of engagement and retention
- **Collaborating** - You will be touching all aspects of HR, so you'll need to be passionate about teamwork Communicating and collaborating with your team, always being sure data and information is clean and clear
- **Supporting**:

- You will be part of the team responsible for supporting our entire company of superstar RenoRunners so you will be a source of information and inspiration
- **Learning** - We're a small and tightly knit team, so you will need to be hungry to learn a broad range of disciplines, from HR compliance to reporting and analytics
- **Flexing** - We change every minute to enable us to grow at the extraordinary rate that we do. You will need to thrive off non-stop development, progression, testing, failing, learning and improving

**What you will bring**:

- 3-5 years of experience in Human Resource roles;
- Experience with ATS and HRIS systems;
- Ideally a working knowledge of English and French

RenoRun est né en 2016 du raisonnement selon lequel les entrepreneurs passent trop de temps loin de leurs chantiers en se rendant au magasin pour se procurer des matériaux. Avant de développer le concept, les cofondateurs, trois vétérans de l'industrie de la construction, s'asseyaient en hiver dans différents stationnements de quincailleries autour de Montréal, avec des cafés Tim Horton et des cahiers en main. Ils comptaient tous ceux qui y sortaient en bottes de travail, ainsi que les camionnettes et les fourgonnettes, pour finalement comparer leurs notes en fin de journée. C'était leur "clients".

Après avoir constaté qu'environ 2 000 entrepreneurs circulaient par heure dans les quincailleries de Montréal, ils décidèrent de partir en croisade pour mieux les servir et les libérer des désagréments qui s'étaient normalisés dans l'industrie de la construction.
