**RhPAP is seeking a full-time Marketing and Communications Advisor to join our team. **As the Marketing and Communications Associate, you will report to the Senior Manager and be responsible for creating timely and effective communications to build awareness and promote a positive public image of RhPAP. This role requires strong tactical skills, including content and creative development, as well as project management. You will focus on digital and social media engagement, and as an adaptive self-starter, you will have a sincere interest in making an impact on healthcare in Alberta. The Advisor plays a vital role in the Marketing and Communications team, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to develop effective messaging that is consistently applied across the organization's programs and initiatives, ultimately advancing healthcare in rural Alberta.

As the Marketing and Communications Advisor, your primary responsibility is to develop and implement program promotions, communications, and marketing functions through various channels such as social and digital media. You will also conduct regular evaluations and analysis of communication efforts to gather feedback and insights that will guide future strategies and initiatives. Additionally, you will support RhPAP's cause-related activities, including special events and projects. Your role is crucial in ensuring effective communication of RhPAP's mission and achievements to its stakeholders.

**Job Requirements**:

- Post-Secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field with a minimum of five years of professional experience in marketing and communications.
- Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating marketing and communications programs.
- Experience managing and leveraging digital platforms and social media channels.
- Ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them along with superb writing and storytelling skills.
- Excellent decision-making skills are evidenced by a demonstrated ability to create, organize, and manage short
- and long-term plans and projects and deliver results.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of public relations principles and practices, including media relations and crisis communications.
- Have experience living and working in rural Alberta.
- Understand the unique challenges and successes found in rural health care/rural communities.

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

Note: Satisfactory background screening is required for this position, which includes a Criminal Record Check/Police Information Check.
