Courier Driver

Hartrans Cartage Services is a local Peterborough-based trucking company, offering local LTL cartage services as well as TL service, dedicated courier service and flatbed/Moffat services to other carriers and local shippers.

We are currently looking for part-time, customer-service focused courier delivery drivers to provide relief coverage for current delivery drivers on dedicated routes.

Job Requirements:

- G licence with a clean driver abstract
- Offload, sort and load freight from linehaul unit to delivery unit using a dolly and/or pallet jack
- Route deliveries in an efficient manner taking into account customer operating hours
- Ability to handle high volume deliveries efficiently
- Ability to lift and carry shipments to/from truck
- Complete all necessary paperwork
- On some routes use a handheld scanner
- Strong customer service
- Use a cell phone to communicate with dispatch
- Perform all required equipment safety checks

G licenced drivers are invited to apply. A minimum 3 years driving experience.
