WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Are you a night owl with an eye for detail? We're on the hunt for an Overnight House Person to help keep the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel looking its best around the clock It's a full-time gig, promising $19 an hour for a minimum of 30 hours per week, with an additional dollar premium for every hour
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JOB
As our Overnight House Person, you'll be the behind-the-scenes star, keeping our public spaces spotless, responding quickly to guest requests with a smile, and ensuring our laundry and storage areas are well-organized.
**Some of you other duties include**:

- Assist the laundry team by managing the flow of dirty linens in and fresh linens out, helping avoid any bottlenecks.
- Operate laundry machines efficiently to keep things running smoothly.
- Use steam cleaners and carpet shampoo machines to keep carpets looking sharp.
- Organize and stock storage rooms to keep them clean and ready for action.
- Occasionally lend a hand with guest room cleaning when needed.
- Properly handle Lost and Found items, ensuring they’re logged and stored correctly.
- Maintain a professional and ethical attitude with guests, teammates, vendors, and other departments.
- Follow hotel safety protocols and accident prevention procedures.
- Use provided checklists to consistently meet cleanliness standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns promptly to supervisors.
- Show up on time, ready to work and tackle the day.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver top-tier guest service.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests and vendors alike, going above and beyond to make their experience memorable.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE CONSIDERED
- Reading Comprehension - You should be able to understand and interpret written information in work-related documents such as brand standards, and checklists.
- Writing - Strong written communication skills are essential to communicate effectively with guests and other team members.
- Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen actively and understand information presented through spoken words and sentences is crucial for this role.
- Customer and Personal Service - You should possess a solid understanding of customer service principles and processes, including assessing customer needs, meeting service standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
- Analytical/Critical Thinking - You should have the ability to gather and organize information systematically, recognize patterns and relationships in complex data, identify problems and implications, generate alternative solutions, and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of various approaches to problem-solving.
