We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Windshield Replacement and Repair Technician to join our team.
Position: Windshield Replacement and Repair Technician ( glass repair and replacement )
**Responsibilities**:
- Inspect automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows, to assess damage.
- Repair chips and cracks using specialized tools and techniques.
- Remove and replace damaged windshields and other glass components.
- Ensure proper fit and secure installation of new glass.
- Clean and prepare glass surfaces for installation.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining the work performed and addressing any questions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in auto glass technology.
- Assist with automotive accessory installation and customer inquiries.
- Exercise strong attention to detail to enhance overall service quality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification from a recognized auto glass technician training program preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in auto glass repair and replacement.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of ADAS calibration procedures is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy glass and equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Motivation to learn and grow within the company.

- Able to lift glass many times a day (35-50 lbs average) at times with a partner
- Criminal record check upon hiring
- Valid Class 5 driver license, drivers abstract
- Won't mind driving to Lunenburg or to the city (or from the city to South Shore) to fill in for team mates
