Custodian

**CUSTODIAN**

St. Francis Xavier Parish in Stoney Creek is looking for a full time Custodian (28 hours/week). Reporting to the Parish Priest, this position offers a competitive rate of pay and requires a commitment to work the outlined hours with some flexibility when needed.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Maintenance/cleaning of Church and Halls as needed.
- Parish garbage and recycling collection and disposal upkeep.
- Set up tables and chairs for events in Hall.
- Snow and ice control of doorways and walkways including salting and shoveling.
- Inspection of Parish fire alarm and emergency systems.
- Liturgical seasonal decorating.
- Watering plants as needed.
- Complete necessary paperwork as required/needed.
- Any additional duties may be assigned by the Pastor from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Education: high school or equivalent
- Able to work in all outdoor year-round weather conditions and in good physical condition
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions

License: G Class Driver’s license
