**Job Description**:
The **Manager Talent Acquisition, High Volume,** will act as a partner on all BAU recruitment activity, working with Senior Hiring Leaders and the HR community, in the recruitment of talent for Canada Life. In this role, you will act as the primary conduit for the distribution of the recruitment workload and provide updates to key business partners in the portfolio. This includes but is not limited to advising on sourcing strategies to attract top talent, internal and external campaigns to promote career opportunities at Canada Life, resourcing a team of Recruiters against the priority needs and ensuring that quality standards are followed to ensure timely and accurate reporting to the business. You will be responsible for providing leadership, coaching and direction to a team of Recruiters and Coordinators including performance reviews, identifying training and development opportunities to help team members reach their full potential and supporting the Recruiters in using the best available tools to source, attract and assess talent including talent that aligns with our DE&I goals and objectives, our budget, and leading external practices.

The Manager Talent Acquisition will also lead senior career level searches for the portfolio and will liaise with external search partners when required. In this role, you will report to the Director, Talent Acquisition and will play a key role in moving the TA function forward through partnership with the TA Program Manager and Manager, Emerging Talent to ensure that our processes, tools and assets are current and best in class in order to successfully attract talent. This role will also include occasional project work.

**What you will do**
- Lead the delivery of high quality and diverse talent to Canada Life.
- Consult with Leadership on the design and delivery of all sourcing activity to ensure it is meeting current and future business needs across Canada Life and acquiring critical capabilities for the future.
- Build and maintain relationships with external industry associations, alumni associations and community partners cross key markets to amplify our brand and build our talent pipelines.
- Bring in key external insights to help bring the function into a more competitive position to attract and source key talent.
- Coach and develop Recruiters and Coordinators to effectively deliver talent and grow their careers.

**What you will bring**
- College diploma or university degree; CHRL considered an asset
- 10+ years Talent Acquisition experience with deep awareness and insight on the talent marketplace
- Ability to attract, motivate and develop talent to build the right team to meet strategic direction, delivering for today and for tomorrow’s needs.
- Ability to prioritize, focus and balance multiple priorities at all times. Can assess situations, make decisions, and get things done, with a high degree of agility.
- Strong communication, change management and implementation abilities
- Ability to impact and influence across various stakeholders
