**GKM Consultants**, a Canadian company with a proven experience in geo-technical and structural instrumentation projects, as well as in vibration and noise control and monitoring, is recognized in Canada and internationally for its expertise. We provide customized and innovative monitoring solutions and have all the resources required to complete the various phases of instrument installation and commissioning throughout construction. Our worldwide operations deliver projects in multiple sectors, including mining, civil engineering, energy and the environment. Our head office is located in Sainte-Julie, Québec.

We are seeking an energetic person for the role of Project Manager, Acoustics and Vibration. The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring, coordinating and managing projects, as well as assisting the site team and customer requests.

**Responsibilities**:
**Pre and Post-Mandate and Technical Support: 50%**
- Write technical reports
- Make recommendations to clients
- Communicate with customers and other stakeholders involved in projects and provide effective and punctual customer follow-up
- Collect and monitor customer information in the files
- Details of remote monitoring systems
- Configuration details photos; time-sheets
- Assist in the management of the rental stock:

- _ «_in and out »
- Calibration of equipment
- Maintenance of equipment
- Manage licenses for specific software
- Add any new contacts to the GKM customer list
- Perform daily remote checks of equipment on site
- Perform technical support to customers, solution research and diagnostics
- carry out the necessary tests
- Provide feedback to the engineering team

**Planning and Execution of Mandates: 30%**
- Ensure the planning of work and the follow-up of ongoing projects
- Prepare the execution of missions with the team by evaluating
- Health, safety and environmental challenges;
- Customer expectations
- The necessary knowledge
- Material needs
- Logistical and monetary constraints
- Assistance in the implementation of the mandate
- The installation and start-up of remote monitoring systems
- The programming of the systems
- Configuration
- The collection of all information for interpretation
- Checks of proper functioning
- The transfer of information to customers
- Administrative documentation

**Sales and Business Development: 20%**
- Technically support the sales team
- Design of remote monitoring solutions
- Assessment of time and material requirements
- Cost estimation
- Review and participate in the preparation of technical service offers and financial proposals
- Make purchases and billing
- Promote and track products and services to current and potential customers
- Make presentations to customers and prospects
- Attend exhibitions and conferences

Qualifications:

- University studies in mechanical, physical, electrical, geological, geophysical or civil engineering
- ASP Construction Certification

**Knowledge and experience required**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar or related position
- Specific knowledge of the field of acoustics and vibrations
- Good knowledge of sound and vibration measuring instruments
- Knowledge of electronics
- Knowledge of telecommunications
- Mastery of the MS Office suite
- Fluency in French and English, both written and oral
