Part time assistant and light Jewellery making needed for Jewellery Studio.

We are looking for someone to do our in person shipping and office work as well as doing light jewellery making tasks from our home based studio.

We are looking for someone organized and efficient to work weekdays, one or two days a week, 4-6 hour shifts, and more during peak seasons. Hours and days are flexible and can be negotiated.
- Brings positive energy to the environment
- Is comfortable being self-guided in daily tasks
- Is well-organized and pays attention to details
- Is comfortable using a PC and office software
- Has some Jewellery making skills
- Is interested in learning on the job
- Can work weekdays
- Can pick up extra hours when we are busy

Tasks include:
Shipping
- Reviewing orders for accuracy
- Communicating any mistakes with the orders
- Tagging and boxing Jewellery orders
- Printing packing slips
- Printing shipping labels
- Batching orders

Ordering supplies
- Online ordering, scheduling pickups via courier
- Inventory of chain, gemstones etc. and replenishing stock as needed.

Creating worksheets, spreadsheets, and other documents as an operations resource.

Printing / Cutting Tags etc.

Cleaning, Organizing and other basic chores.

Jewellery skills can be taught on the job and include:

- Wax Injections.
- Wire Wrapping beads.
- Sawing Metal
- Various other Jewellery processes as needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Pack and unpack items to be shipped.
- Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Determine shipping methods, routes, and rates.
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders to route materials.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents.
- Assemble containers and crates for shipping purposes.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 per week

**Salary**: From $16.75 per hour
