As a Supervisor, your main responsibilities will involve leading through example and ensuring excellence in hospitality and operations. Supervisors must be available a variety of weekdays and on both Friday and Saturday to fulfill our business needs.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for all, but not limited to, the following:

- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant
- Demonstrating exceptional customer service by leading and motivating the team to exceed Guest expectations
- Training and developing Team Members in accordance with company guidelines to ensure high-quality service and product knowledge
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Possessing the ability to lead by example and influence a diverse operational team of at least 15 people at a time
- Being a champion for the restaurant's food safety and quality goals
- Setting team goals, sharing the scores visually and celebrating the wins
- Developing people and teams to meet the goals of the business
- Providing both formal and informal feedback to the team
- Assisting with recruiting, hiring and retaining talent as needed
- Performing regular inventory checks and assisting with ordering supplies as needed
- Ensuring good stewardship of labour through productivity management and labour scheduling
- Ensuring good stewardship of facilities though proper training in cleaning and care of equipment
- Fulfilling the opening and closing operations of the restaurant
- Providing relevant, consistent, communication to support the growth and development of the restaurant
- Keeping a constant pulse on operations and always be striving towards continuous improvement and innovation

- Upholding all Pathway training standards within the restaurant and providing on-the-spot coaching when required

- Performing additional work duties as assigned by leadership to support business needs

**Requirements**:

- Must have 2+ years of restaurant leadership experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age upon hire
- Must be legally permitted to work in Canada
- Must have strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must have attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Must have knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in the food service industry
- Must be able to bend and lift up to 50lbs and perform physical activities such as lifting, balancing, bending, walking, handling materials, boxes, equipment, pots and pans, and navigating shelving both high and low
- Must be able to work outside and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to meet minimum availability requirements - availability 5 days/week, 40 hours/week, including opening/closing 2x Monday-Thursday, opening/closing 2x Friday-Saturday, and providing flexibility with availability to help meet business needs
- Must be able to work within the hours of 9:00am to 11:30pm
- Must have a reliable means of transportation and be able to arrive on time for work with consistency
- Must have a valid Food Handlers Certificate
