**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Slegg Building Materials is currently seeking a Full-Time Merchandising Lead Hand to join our team. The shifts are Monday - Friday with flexible hours. The wage range is $22-24 per hour, based on experience. Our Extended Health & Dental benefits start after 3 months.

**THE RESPONSIBILITIES**

Including but not limited to the following:

- Oversee the Replenishment Team
- Responsible for replenishment of merchandise to the sales floor from the stockroom
- Assists in the stocking/merchandising of incoming truck freight to the sales floor and stockroom
- Restocks merchandise on selling floor
- Pack downs
- Organization of the stockroom
- Position will be working inside and outside
- Assist in keeping product signage/ pricing accurate
- Assist in, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping
- Put returns away
- Keyholder
- All other duties as directed by management

**THE REQUIREMENTS**
- Have previous experience in a similar supervisory role
- In store marketing experience an asset
- Perform repetitive lifting
- Forklift/scissor lift experience is an asset
- Physical requirements include:

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Standing for long periods of time
- Pulling, pushing, bending and torso twisting movements with weight
- Detail orientated with disciplined work habits
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently and as a team
