**Role impact**:
***What you will deliver**:

- Supports the Director in evolving and maturing the PMO Centre of Excellence by executing and implementing D&T's delivery methodologies (waterfall & hybrid Agile) and tools to enable consistency of outcomes and flexibility to respond to business demand, while ensuring adherence to governance standards
- Leads and mentors a team of Project/Program and Product Managers, setting clear goalsand providing coaching based on PMI best practices, and ensuring standards are upheld.
- Oversees the full project lifecycle, from ideation and development through launch and post-launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and benefits realization.
- Establish and deliver mechanisms for tracking project progress (including but not limited to on time and on budget KPIs) and reporting to executive stakeholders.
- Leads and facilitates the monthly PMO forums providing industry best practices and latest emerging trends
- Leads and facilitates the bi-weekly D&T portfolio delivery update meetings with the executive team, bringing forward items at risks and decisions for alignment.
- Manage stakeholder communication across all levels of the organization, ensuring transparency and alignment on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Drives continuous improvement in project management practices, incorporating feedback and lessons learned into future projects.
- Ensure compliance with standards and company policies through project development processes.
- Support the implementation and adoption of a new Program & Project Management tool, Asana.

- Strong organizational skills and communications skills - ability to clearly articulate business issues and recommend/synthesize solutions and present to executives.

- Fosters a collaborative atmosphere which leverages innovation to combine theoretical knowledge and experience to develop best-practices.
- Strong facilitation skills
- Ability to develop and build strong working relationships at all D&T organizational levels.
- Ability to negotiate and effectively manage outsourced vendor and staff relationships.
- Proven, structured problem-solving and critical thinking expertise.

**What you need to succeed**:

- University or College degree in Business, Commerce, Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 7+ years of relevant experience developing and managing Project Management Offices in medium to large organizations, and managing/leading multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
- 5 years leadership and people management experience managing large teams and resources.
- PMP or PgMP certification is required
- PMI-ACP, CSM, or Change Management accreditation is an asset
- Familiarity with project management or collaboration software, such as Asana, Jira, Confluence, SmartSheet, Microsoft Project Plan
