In your role, you will:

- Interact with various multi-disciplinary teams to harmonize the implementation of engineering or assembly strategy changes by working in close collaboration with the engineering, material logistics, quality and production departments;
- Technically support the daily activities of production;
- Interpret the drawings and other documents from the engineering department;
- Define and document production kits;
- Validate and correct the work instructions intended for the manufacture or assembly of aircraft components;
- Make production jobs executable as quickly as possible (monitoring engineering disposition, parts availability, documentation progression, etc );
- Investigate the root causes of problems and analyze potential solutions by evaluating the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production;
- Be on the lookout for ways to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies in addition to taking part in research and development projects
- Take charge of solving technical problems in the pre-flight and delivery sectors soliciting the support of other services;
- Provide adequate project schedule, allocation of resources and definition of tooling/processes to allow for change implementation
- Ensure the right resources are available to meet projected workload delivery on quality, cost and schedule
- Ensure the feasibility and plan the changes requested by production and by customers (RFQ); Characterize planned and unplanned tasks (RNC, BOI, Snags, workbook) - Duration, Area, Job activity, Predecessors/Successors, Milestones;
- Plan work to meet the daily operations provided depending on the capabilities and constraints of the factory and the company’s profitability target;
- Support the change management processes affecting the product and implement these changes in the detailed plan;
- Ensure completion of Functional Test Procedural instructions to production, aiming to ensure all systems are fully tested.
- Follow up on documentation related to the progress of aircraft completion;
- Carry out impact analysis according to the issues encountered in production;
- Lead, coach, develop, and assess employees as required
- Support production leaders in the day-to-day operations and during Daily Morning Meeting;
- Support the leader and production team in the daily planning of tasks;
- Ensure that all team members understand their role and performance in achieving the Operations Unit plan
- Take part in the improvement projects (Achieving Excellence System, 5S, lean manufacturing, cost reduction, improved manufacturing, etc.)
- Participate in Achieving Excellence and Continuous Improvement activities
- Identify opportunities to eliminate non-added value and optimize production.

**Qualifications**
- You have a technical college diploma and / or equivalent experience;
- You have 5 years or more of experience in aeronautics;
- You are comfortable reading technical drawings, good 3D visualization and good analytical skills;
- You have good logic and a good mechanical mind;
- You have an excellent team spirit; you are recognized for your perseverance and your judgment;
- You have good judgment; you are innovative and have a good decision-making process;
- You have a strong customer mindset and good interpersonal communication skills;
- You know the software of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
- You are familiar with computer-aided design software such as Catia, AutoCad, Enovia ;
- You are familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as BAAN, SAP, etc.;
- You master the French language, both orally and in writing, and you have a good knowledge of the English language;
- Ability to communicate in English is an asset, to communicate with suppliers, customers and colleagues located outside the Province of Quebec.
- Knowledge of aircraft structure, systems and interior finish will be considered an asset.
