In your role, you will:

- Manage day-to-day requests for production and other services. You and your team will need to react to situations that could result in assembly line stoppages.
- Participate in investigations and problem solving, as well as integrate opportunities for product improvement. You will be proactive in implementing corrective measures that will prevent future line stoppages.
- Review and/or create assembly books, write, and view action folders as needed. You will also have to write change requests when required.
- Provide technical expertise and leadership to operations and promote the principles of Lean Production and Andon Support.
- Ensure that there is a person in charge and an action plan that respects the schedule for all identified problems; Update the visual management board.
- Investigate problems related to the documentation of methods and engineering and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- Bring to the attention of leaders any problem that is not satisfactorily resolved.
- Maintain databases of method documents.

**Qualifications**
- You hold a college diploma in aeronautics or any other related or equivalent field.
- You have five (5) years of experience as an Electrical Methods Officer.
- You have relevant experience in supporting interior, structural and final line aircraft system installations is a major asset.
- You have a good knowledge of technical writing to manufacture, assembly, and installation instruction.
- You have leadership and support the importance of customer satisfaction.
- You are a team player, organized, autonomous, resourceful, imaginative and you are persistent.
- You enjoy working in a team and have excellent communication skills.
- You are proficient with Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, BAAN, NCMS, and knowledge of Catia V4 and V5 is an asset.
- You speak and write in French and English.
- Knowledge of AMO (Approved Maintenance Organization) requirements and manufacturing environment
