We work primarily in the seniors housing sector (retirement homes & 55+ communities) but have a number of clients seeking skilled agents within the traditional rental community.**

**Our sales teams are retained for our high level of customer service, hospitality and our approach with prospects. Our sales teams are competitive, driven, and focused on conversion through nurturing interactions and follow-up.**

**Reports To - Leasing Agent reports to the CEO.**

**Job Overview**

**The Leasing Agent will join the Grandview Consulting team as we represent and build the brand of luxury lifestyle apartment rentals for the 55+ housing and/or new apartment complexes. The Leasing Agent will assist and develop superior client service, hospitality, and relationships with prospects and future tenants. The leasing agent will interact directly with prospective residents to achieve the property’s maximum occupancy maximum revenue.**

**About You**

**The Leasing Agent has experience in sales and marketing. They are the sales champion. They have the ability to connect with prospects and intuition on how to advance them. They excel at discovering prospects needs, highlighting needs/benefits, managing objections and closing. These characteristics includes: being ambitious, self-motivated, confident and intuitive individual who is outgoing, friendly and curious by nature. The Leasing Agent thrives in an environment that fosters relationship building and hospitality. **Responsibilities and Duties**
- **Act as the brand ambassador for Grandview Consulting Partners and represent the project you are leasing to the highest quality. This includes ensuring a professional appearance while on location at all times.**:

- **Ensure sales targets are being met including ensuring strategic plans are being implemented for lead generation, lead advancement, and referral development.**:

- **Monitors and evaluates performance and adjusts strategically.**:

- **Manage all aspects of the sales funnel following the sales and relationship building methods created by Grandview.**:

- **Provide tours and site visits to prospective renters.**:

- **Develop meaningful relationships with prospects and demonstrate superior service and hospitality.**:

- **Track all sales activity using various client management systems**:

- **Research, identify and facilitate opportunities to participate and engage in the Ottawa community for the purpose of relationship and referral development, top of mind awareness or partnerships for value add to the Grandview program or visa versa.**:

- **Create and promote lead-generating events for the purpose of client relations or lead generation.**:

- **Participate in regular meetings, planning sessions, and complete weekly activity reporting and ensure over-communicate efforts with the Program Director.**:

- **Self-manage a flexible schedule and be available on evenings or weekends if required.**

**Accountability Objective**

**The primary objective of this role is to develop the brand, develop occupancy and develop relationships with prospects. The Leasing Agent must demonstrate these abilities to be successful in this role.**

**Qualifications**
- **Post-secondary education is considered an asset...with a preference for business administration, sales, marketing, communications, public relations, or a background in an industry related to the position: real estate, healthcare, geriatrics, hospitality etc..**:

- **Minimum 1 years’ experience in business, entrepreneurship, sales or management. Preference to those with experience in the geriatric field.**:

- **Must demonstrate a strong ability to operate as a self-manager and demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, and leadership.**

- **Willingness to learn, grow and be coached to improve performance.**:

- **Must demonstrate the ability to connect with prospects and the ability to foster genuine relationships.**:

- **Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and have the intuition to advance prospects through the stages of readiness.**:

- **Must have a basic understanding of computers including Google Docs and Microsoft programs.**:

- **Must have valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle as the Leasing Agent must be available to conduct home visits, community outreach and attend other community development opportunities.**

**Job Types: Part-time, Permanent**

**Salary: $56,000.00-$66,000.00 per year**
