RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Helps develop team vision and deliver on objectives identified within the teams, department, and corporate scorecard.
- Coaches others, helps develop their potential, and equip them with the skills to successfully perform their jobs as business analysts.
- Establishes professional development goals and performance standards for staff, alongside the Team Leads. Conducts performance reviews at determined intervals or as required. Provides rewards and recognition where warranted and initiates progressive discipline when the circumstances require.
- Demonstrates a customer focus by developing and maintaining close customer ties, articulating customer needs and balancing department and unit priorities with customer expectations and satisfaction.
- Ensures that service delivery occurs within defined operating level agreements helping to ensure that customer needs are consistently met, and service interruptions are minimized. This may require active management and triaging of service requests.
- Continually explores opportunities to improve service delivery.
- Helps develop resourcing plans, used to maximize staff utilization while balancing workload across the teams.
- Provides support to management and business units and will take a lead role in the coordination of Information Technology projects.
- Builds collaborative partnerships with WCB business units, Business Analysis Services, BTS, and service providers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- A university degree in the field of Computing Science, Information Management, Business Management/Commerce, or related field is required. A minimum of 5 years progressive experience in a complex business or IT environment. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Highly developed understanding of business and system analysis, business process management (BPM), modeling tools, case tools and process/workflow mapping.
- Demonstrated leadership: strong ability to facilitate and resolve issues and strong decision-making skills are required.
- Extensive knowledge of organizational change management and project management is required.
- Outstanding conceptual and analytical skills, business acumen, and a strong attention to detail.
- Supervisory experience is an asset, specifically in the areas of resource management, performance development, coaching and mentoring.
- A recognized professional designation: IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Project Management Professional (PMP), Business Analysis (BA) or Information Systems Professional (ISP), etc. is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Salary Range 12: $86,071 to $112.927 per annum (includes Market Supplement)
