**Position: Cementing Field Specialist**
**Location: Mount Pearl, Newfoundland**

We're seeking an enthusiastic individual who wishes to join our **Newfoundland **team and contribute to our success.

This position will be based in Mount Pearl, NL with opportunity for periods of international assignment and/or offshore travel.

**In your position with SLB, you will be responsible for**:

- Supervising, organizing, and performing all types of Cementing jobs in a professional manner, consistently maintaining, and improving SLB's service quality standards, while actively promoting safety in the workplace
- Reporting to SLB and liaising with Client representatives onshore and offshore
- Ensuring that the correct people, equipment, and materials arrive on time on location in a timely manner as required
- Assisting in and performs rig ups, testing and is ready to perform the job, as requested by client, with no deviations from standard work instructions and contingency plans
- Ensuring pre job meetings are held with applicable personnel, client, and third-party personnel
- Completes all the required pre and post job paperwork and job tickets on time and without errors as per company policies
- Identifying any potential unplanned changes to the job program at the well site, and initiating SLB's Management of Change procedure(s)
- Performing various Risk Analysis before each job or task and identifies & addresses potential safety hazards. Corrects and report hazards immediately in via internal process and or to Supervisor.
- Following and uphold all SLB QHSE Standards and promote their respect, understanding and adherence
- Fostering a positive working environment, ensuring the field crew actively participates in the client's QHSE programs
- Acting as mentor and participating actively in the training of assigned personnel
- Developing skills in assigned services through training self-study and practice.

**You will have a minimum of**:

- High School Diploma or GED plus degree in related Science
- Certificate in Petroleum Engineering Technology an asset
- Minimum 3 years' of previous cementing experience as a Supervisor.
