**Qualifications**:
Hold a Diploma of College Studies in a Building Systems Technology, or a diploma or an attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by the competent authority.

**AND**

Have a thorough knowledge of office automation as well as 3D modelling and design.

**Other Requirements**:

- Must be bilingual.
- Must have excellent knowledge and demonstrated ability in Microsoft suite and Google suite,
- Knowledge of MAXEMO, HELIOS, DOFIN, INFINI, BICS, METASYS, DELTA, AUTOCAD would be an asset.
- Demonstrated above-average organizational skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as effectively on a team.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to treat documents with diligence while respecting confidentiality.
- Must be able to carry out architectural and equipment surveys.
- Must have knowledge of DCW systems.
- Degree in architecture would be an asset.
- Knowledge of urbanism studies would be an asset.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

**Nature of the work**:
The principal and customary work of an employee in this class of employment consists in providing technical assistance to the various departments of the school board by conducting research, preparing drawings and specifications and collecting and supplying basic data to professionals and to those responsible for the various departments or in being responsible for the functioning of equipment associated with building systems.

**Daily Tasks/Dossiers**:

- Prepare architectural plans and drawings for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, electricity, and others.
- Monitor work and prepare progress reports to determine the payments to be made and to ensure strict deadlines are met.
- Coordinates the technical work of the preventive maintenance of mechanical systems, conducts regular inspections and required operational tests, and ensures that repairs are carried out.
- Update and verify snow removal drawings to ensure everything is up to code.
- Managing energy consumption alongside project managers.
- Daily work on Metasys; reviewing alarms, troubleshooting, and prioritizing ventilation needs.
- Manage and update the inventory drawings of all LBPSB buildings.
- Update caretaker area drawings for Equipment Services caretaking supervisors.
- Assist project managers where needed regarding architectural drawings, AutoCAD work, and more.
- Manage DCW location maps.
- Monitor ventilation systems to ensure proper ventilation in all LBPSB buildings.
- Monitoring oil consumption.
- Assist LBPSB maintenance technicians with Metasys.
- Responsible for managing dossier related to the city of Montreal fines.
- As needed, performs any other related duties.
