We are currently seeking instructors to support Innivec’s continued vision of providing top-notch education services to our students.

**Description**:
The SME will consult with the program submissions team and Senior Management team for all Business Management related programs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review proposed curriculum materials from the curriculum development team.
- Make change recommendations to the curriculum based on professional experience.
- Consult with the program submissions team, Campus Director, Senior Academic Administrator, and the program submissions department head.
- Fill out the program evaluation report.
- Visit the campus to do site suitability and infrastructure checks for the program.
- Submitting program evaluation report to the BC Ministry of Education Private Branch (PTIB).

**Qualifications and Education**:

- Diploma or Degree in a related field
- 2 to 5 years of related field experience
- Master’s degree or equivalent is an asset

**Theory Courses/Lab and Practice Experience**:

- Professional Accounting Designation (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA) (Canada) is strongly recommended.
- Recent/relevant work experience (2 years) in an accountancy related business environment.
- Demonstrates valuing diversity and intercultural competence
- Previous curriculum and program development experience is considered an asset.
- Proven experience supervising students, providing support and feedback in constructive and meaningful manners is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to communicate complex information to students both orally and written in an understandable manner.
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion when interacting with students and colleagues.
- Capable of working independently as well as being part of a team.
- Being able to work under pressure/fast-paced environment and deliver on scheduled deadlines.
- Working hours depends on the completion of project only

**Compensation**:

- This will be a contract position that will pay $250.00 to $400.00 Canadian per project.

**Job Types**: Casual, Seasonal
