We are looking for an experienced General Manager to join our growing team of automotive professionals

**ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensure that all departments in the dealership are run effectively and profitably.
- Plan the dealership’s operations for the coming year.
- Develop and execute plans to ensure dealership success and profitability.
- Review and consult with Human Resources on compensation plans for all employees.
- Ensure that departmental managers are training and supervising employees for optimum effectiveness.
- Communicate company policies and procedures to all departmental managers and employees to ensure that they are understood and complied with.
- Conduct managers’ meetings on a regular basis.
- Obtain, review, and recommend improvements for each department manager’s plans and proposals.
- Complete performance evaluations of each department on a regular basis.
- Develop and maintain good working relationship with vendors and manufacturers.
- Must follow Company safety policies and practices, and immediately, report any and all accidents to a Manager/Supervisor.
- This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED**:

- Previous management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communicational skills.
- The ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong leadership skills, with ability to motivate and supervise employees.
- Ability to maintain records and prepare reports using a computerized system.
- Ability to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information, in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
- Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
