ProShop is a game-changing ERP/MES/QMS software product we call a Digital Manufacturing Ecosystem (DME) specifically for companies in the metalworking and aerospace industry, such as machine shops, fab shops, and other similar businesses. We build this software by combining and translating our diverse experience with deep industry-specific knowledge to optimize manufacturing processes for our clients. The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist will conduct testing on our software to identify and resolve bugs, defects, and other potential issues. You will work closely with the QA team to ensure our final products meet our organization’s standards across the board before they get released to our clients.
In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you
**Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks using Playwright + JavaScript.
- Perform various functional and non-functional types of testing.
- Document software defects in Jira, including concise and detailed reproduction steps.
- Analyze reported issues to generate quality reports, and contribute to defect prevention.
- Monitor, measure, and report to the QA Lead on test progress, product quality, test results, and test completion.
- Collaborate with the QA Lead to develop effective strategies and test plans.
- Work with cross-functional teams and participate in team meetings to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Communicates quality standards and results to the QA team, development team, and other appropriate staff.
- Assist on projects, assignments, and other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or an equivalent role performing a wide variety of manual and automated tests.
- Solid JavaScript skills to design, develop, execute, and maintain test automation scripts using Playwright.
- Solid understanding of GitLab or similar code repositories.
- Knowledge of Visual Studio Code, CSS, and HTML.
- Comprehensive understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and QA documentation.
- Knowledge of JIRA or similar defect-tracking tools to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively, both independently and within a team environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
- Familiarity with front-end development frameworks such as React is a plus.
**Salary Range**: This compensation range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to geographic locations, job family, job-related skills, experience and relevant training or education, business and organizational needs.
