As a Bilingual (French/English) Verifications Specialist you will conduct reference interviews, employment verifications and education verifications on behalf of our clients. This is a great way to get exposure to the pre-employment screening aspect of HR
More about the job:
- Conduct reference interviews on behalf of clients
- Make and be available to receive calls for references and/or verifications
- Provide client care and respond to inquiries
- Verify employment claims and cross check information while identifying discrepancies
- Proofread and edit reports
- Deliver results to client via online system
- Contact schools and employers to verify education and employment claims
- Assist other team members on behalf of clients
- Other related duties as may be assigned from time to time
This Is What We're Looking For:
- Excellent communication skills (French and English) both verbally and written
- Ability to represent organization in a positive and professional manner
- Superior time management skills and strong attention to detail
- Experience in handling sensitive material
- Strong desire to succeed and be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong ability to navigate through operating systems, internet and software easily
- Customer service experience
- Minimum typing speed of 35WPM
- Some work experience required.
- Certificate or Diploma in an academic discipline or other related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. A Criminology Degree is an asset.

Responsabilités:
- Effectuer des entrevues de références pour le compte des clients
- Faire et recevoir des appels de vérification
- Aider les clients et répondre à leurs questions
- Vérifier les emplois déclarés ; comparer les informations pour relever les incohérences
- Relire et réviser les rapports
- Envoyer le résultat aux clients sur la plateforme en ligne
- Contacter les établissements scolaires et les employeurs pour vérifier les études et les antécédents professionnels
- Aider les autres membres de l’équipe au nom des clients
- Autres tâches connexes, à la demande
Compétences requises:
- Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais
- Excellentes aptitudes de communication, à l’écrit comme à l’oral
- Capacité de représenter l’entreprise avec positivité et professionnalisme
- Compétences supérieures en gestion du temps et souci du détail
- Expérience en matière de traitement de documents confidentiels
- Soif de réussite et aptitude pour le travail indépendant et le travail d’équipe
- Excellent sens de l’organisation
- Capacité de naviguer sur l’Internet et d’utiliser des systèmes d’exploitation et des logiciels sans difficulté
- Expérience en matière de service à la clientèle
- Vitesse de frappe d’au moins 35 mots par minute
- Certificat ou diplôme en ressources humaines ou autre discipline connexe ; ou combinaison équivalente d’études, de formation et d’expérience. Un diplôme en criminologie est un atout.
