Registry Specialist

**Basic Job Requirements**:

- Previous registry experience is strongly preferred but we may also train the right person.
- Superior customer skills to build rapport with clients and an ability to interact with customers in a friendly, articulate, and professional manner
- Willing and able to learn quickly and to grow as you expand your areas of expertise
- A working knowledge of computers as evidenced by a degree of technological intuitiveness
- Able to learn, interpret and deliver numerous and complex Alberta Registry policies and procedures
- Positive & outgoing attitude and an ability to work as a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask and follow-up on tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A clear criminal record check
- Ability and willingness to work Saturdays

**Some of the Specific Duties**:

- Performing front counter Lien Searches and Land Title Searches
- Corporate Registry Searches
- Processing and reconciling payments on a daily basis using registry software
- Answering phones & booking road tests

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed

- Alberta Registry Agent: 1 year (preferred)
