Associate Product Manager

Cardinal Health is an essential link in the Canadian healthcare supply chain, providing over 70,000 products to healthcare facilities and medical professionals across the country. Cardinal Health has more than 1,300 employees nationwide.
Cardinal Health Canada is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to fill the role of Associate Product Manager within our Marketing team. This is a full-time, contract position, which operates under a flexible hybrid approach from our head office in Vaughan, Ontario. This role allows for three remote workdays a week, with in-person attendance required every Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Associate Product Manager will also engage in customer education initiatives, collaborate with the Clinical Business Development Team, participate in digital marketing promotions, manage e-commerce platforms, and contribute significantly to the voice of the consumer. Mentorship and support from an experienced Product Manager will be provided to guide your development and growth within the role.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Strategies & Tactics:_
- Manage all administrative aspects of the product line in compliance with internal policies and procedures, including product discontinuation, product hierarchy, and price lists.
- Respond to representative inquiries and add new items to our ERP solution.
- Develop and implement marketing collateral and programs according to marketing plans.
- Execute launch plans and strategies for new product introductions, product line extensions, and consolidations.
- Contribute to the development of the annual business plan, including the collection of market insight.
- Conduct market intelligence activities and execute voice of customer (VOC) research to inform business activity.
- Participate in major RFP submissions for National Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Shared Services Organizations (SSOs), and Individual accounts.
- Accountable for achieving sales and profit performance objectives for the assigned portfolio.
- Collaboration:_
- Work closely with sales and digital marketing teams to ensure effective implementation of strategies and tactics.
- Present programs and initiatives as required by marketing, sales management, and leadership teams.
- Support sales force training on Products and Sales Tools.
- Liaise with Global and other regional marketing teams.
- Collaborate with other departments (Regulatory, Marketing Communications, Logistics/Supply Chain, Conferences, Contracts, Finance, Assets Operations, etc.) to manage all aspects of the product line.
- Provide timely and accurate forecast information for the product lines (Financial and Supply).
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Healthcare/Science
- 1-2 years of marketing experience, with experience in the Canadian healthcare market preferred
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
- High-level critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to adapt to change and resolve ambiguous situations
- Collaborative team player with the ability to influence and gain support from colleagues and team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), particularly with advanced Excel skills
