**JOB SUMMARY**:
This job is exclusively for Co-op Students who are enrolled in a recognized post-secondary co-operative education program.

The Business and Technical Support Services Branch is responsible for providing strategic, business, technical and other operational support services through a centralized branch that consolidates and streamlines the delivery of specialized business supports and services to an assigned department.

You are responsible for assisting with various activities associated with the support of sponosrship and advertising programs You assist with research in these areas: sponsorship and advertising rate cards, municipal sponsorship programs, strategic communications, and media relations.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:
Enrolment in a recognized co-operative education program in one of the following marketing communications, sports business adminstration, bussiness commerece or related field

No experience required

**KNOWLEDGE**:

- Familiarity with stakeholder relationships/engagement, Four Ps, Four C, sponsorship landscape, marketing communication, sports administration, digital marketing and or business commerece
- Knowledge of word processing, spread sheets, contracts, business negotiations, marketing principles
- Knowledge of private sector verses public sector business sectors

- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team, and to quickly adjust from one project to another
