Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Conduct thorough cost analysis by gathering data on labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accurate estimation of project costs
- Prepare detailed estimates using construction estimating software such as HeavyBid
- Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings during the estimation process
- Present estimates to clients and negotiate pricing as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, change orders, and other relevant documentation
- Assist in the development of project budgets and schedules
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in construction estimating

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques
- Proficiency in using construction estimating software such as HeavyBid
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

**Skills**:

- Price analysis and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in HeavyBid or similar construction estimating software
- Knowledge of Bluebeam or other PDF markup tools for reviewing project plans
- Project management skills to assist in coordinating estimates with project teams
- Ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers

We offer competitive compensation packages based on experience.

Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
