Product Line Manager

**_ Position Summary:_**
Product Line Manager (PLM) is responsible for the strategic market analysis and product development activities, including product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle. This position works closely with the Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Project Management, Operations, and Data Analysis teams to ensure product alignment, technical knowledge, industry acceptance, successful execution, and continuous improvement to ensure that products meet market demands, achieve financial targets, and align with the company's overall business strategy. Financial modeling and analysis will be required to ensure the development project stays on budget and on time. As product development moves to the final stages, this role will transition into supporting product commercialization, Sales & Marketing, ILI Project Management, Operations, and Data Analysis technical training and support.

- Drive and create a zero-harm work environment, ensuring all HSE policies comply with regulatory, customer, and ENTEGRA’s internal requirements
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Develop and implement product line strategies and roadmaps.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Define product positioning, target markets, and go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
- Understand and drive compliance with API 1163, ASNT ILI-PQ, POF, and other relevant industry standards.
- Collaborate with Executive, Leadership, and Commercial teams to assist in developing strategies, plans, and leadership for customer acceptance, revenue optimization, and execution.
- Create and deliver consistent and concise presentations for executives, leadership, and other stakeholders; provide regular reports and updates on product line performance and recommendations to assist with strategic decision-making, technology investment needs and support, and overall project success.
- Develop a timeline and recurring communication for completing the product development stage gates (idea through commercialization). Hold team members and departments accountable for meeting deadlines and budgets.
Product Lifecycle
- Overall product management on a global basis (i.e. budgeting, engineering, project management, operations, and data analysis), ensuring industry KPIs are exceeded, including Run Success, On Time Reporting, and Sizing Accuracy.
- Act as the primary contact between Commercial and Engineering teams in prioritizing product development and/or testing needs.
- Constantly seeking ways to establish market superiority and sustainable competitive advantage for products.
- Assist Engineering, Operations, Data Analysis, and Commercial in product lifecycle management, and develop solutions for identified issues.
- Drive product commercialization and support the creation and execution of related sales strategies regionally and globally.
Product Business Model
- Develop and manage product line budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
- Monitor and analyze product line profitability and make recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure pricing strategies maximize profitability while remaining competitive.
- Analyze and report on return on invested capital, confirming expected results are achieved.
- Aid Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and Operations in the feasibility, risk assessment, and planning of projects for the given product during the product introduction phase.
Product Knowledge & Technical Support
- Participates in trade shows as required, coordinating with the Marketing to develop commercialization documents, sales tools, promotion, and advertising media required by the sales team to sell products and services effectively.
- Develops and presents white papers to conferences and associations to support and promote products.
- Support sales initiatives with marketing needs related to case studies, website development, product brochures, social media content needs, and other requests by the Commercial Director.
- Assist in developing customer presentations upon request that help promote the respective products.
- Assist in collecting technology and tool performance results, standardizing processes and procedures, and training material development and implementation throughout the organization for given products.
- Assist in training employees and customers to understand the product, supporting requirements, processes, and workflow.
- Operational Excellence: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, consistently working towards the achievement of individual and team goals.
- Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in engineering, science, or technical discipline; or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product management with a technical background focus.
