Reporting to the Managing Director, Long-Term Planning and Network Audit, the Long-Term Scheduling Analyst - Advanced Planning is responsible for assessing long term future planned flying schedules efficiency from a Pilot Staffing perspective. Additionally, they will make recommendations to Network and Crew Planning on areas of potential improvement.

**Key Functions & Accountabilities**:

- Work with Network and Crew Planning for all fleets and provide feedback to Network and Crew Planning on potential improvements to the long-term efficiencies of the commercial schedule.
- Collaborate with Crew Planning to analyze crew pairings and determine opportunities to increase the efficiency of the long-term commercial schedule.
- Collaborate with Network and Crew Planning colleagues to review long-term schedule concerns, developments and opportunities.
- Work with Crew Planning to ascertain information on Pilot availability and pairing parameters to increase the efficiency of the Commercial and Crew Planning schedule.
- Actively engage in other department initiatives including the development and maintenance of Block Times and evaluation of passenger misconnects.
- Perform "ad hoc" analysis for various branch initiatives/projects.

**Qualifications**
- University or College Degree required.
- 3+ years of work experience
- A demonstrated ability to make effective decisions with imperfect information.
- Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of management.
- Ability to understand financial implications of operational decisions and develop cost-benefit analyses.
- Experience with building airline pairings is an asset.
- Bilingualism preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
