Responsibilities:
- Oversee all culinary operations and kitchen staff.
- Create innovative menus, incorporating local and global flavors.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain budget constraints.
- Develop and maintain kitchen safety and sanitation protocols.
- Train and mentor culinary team members.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with other departments for seamless restaurant operations.
- Lead in the development of new recipes and dishes.
- Handle special dietary requests and food allergies.
- Participate in menu planning and costing.
- Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance.
- Enforce food portion controls and minimize wastage.
- Handle food vendors and supplier relationships.
- Maintain a creative and productive kitchen environment.
- Assist in hiring and managing kitchen staff.
- Create seasonal menus.
- Ensure compliance with health department regulations.
- Participate in events and catering activities.
- Stay updated with culinary trends and industry developments.
**Salary**: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
