Culinarium, a premier culinary school in Toronto, is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Chef Instructors to teach Italian cuisine classes for adults and children.
As a Chef Instructor at Culinarium, you will have the opportunity to share your love for cooking with a diverse group of students, while working in a fun and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Italian cuisine classes to adults and children, sharing your expertise and techniques in a clear and engaging manner.
- Develop recipes and class materials, ensuring they align with Culinarium's standards and reflect the latest trends in Italian cuisine.
- Manage and maintain the class kitchen and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safety at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service and actively engage with students, answering questions and providing feedback to enhance their learning experience.
- Work closely with other Chef Instructors to ensure a smooth and successful class experience.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role, with a focus on Italian cuisine.
- Experience teaching cooking classes to adults and/or children is preferred.
- A strong understanding of Italian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
