- Reporting to the Senior Director of SAP Program Delivery, the incumbent is responsible for partnering with business owners and Enterprise Architecture (EA) to shape the strategic direction of the entire ecosystem within their product portfolio. This role holds overarching accountability for the alignment of the portfolio with TTC business objectives, driving value generation, and sustaining TTC operations.You will be tasked with driving the creation and execution of comprehensive technology strategies aimed at maintaining technological currency and ensuring the sustainability of TTC operations. This role entails not only devising these strategies but also overseeing their implementation to ensure alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.- You will be responsible for Strategic Planning where you will partner with EA to develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for the IT product portfolio in alignment with the overall business objectives, identify and prioritize key market trends, customer needs, and technological advancements to drive innovation within the product portfolio and integrate business strategies into the IT product portfolio roadmap, ensuring that the development and evolution of products align with the long-term vision and goals of the organization.- You will manage the product portfolio by overseeing the entire lifecycle of IT products within the portfolio, from conceptualization to end-of-life, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market demands; evaluating and prioritizing new product development initiatives, enhancements, and feature requests to optimize the overall portfolio and partner with EA to include such initiatives within TTC’s technology roadmaps; leading and overseeing capital projects within the IT product portfolio, from initial planning and budgeting to execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives; developing and implementing strategies to maintain products and their supporting infrastructure in a state of good repair, conducting regular assessments and prioritizing necessary updates and improvements.- You will collaborate with relevant IT stakeholders to develop and articulate a clear product portfolio strategy and vision. Align the product portfolio roadmap and goals with the company’s overall objectives, market trends, and customer needs.- You will be responsible for Business Relationship Management, Industry/Market Analysis and Performance Metrics and Reporting.- In addition to the above you will be responsible for treating passengers and/or employees with respect and dignity and ensuring the needs of passengers or employees with disabilities are accommodated and/or addressed (if applicable and within their area of responsibility) in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related Orders so that they can fully benefit from the TTC as a service-provider and an employer and perform related duties as assigned.**What Skills You Bring**:- Communicate in a variety of mediums- Manage human resources**What Qualifications You Bring**:

- Bachelor’s degree (or Master’s degree) in business administration, marketing, computer science, software development, or a related field is beneficial as a strong foundation for the role of Director - IT Product Portfolio.
- Multiple years experience in a supervisory position.
- A solid understanding of product management tools and processes, including proficiency in agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, market research techniques, and data analysis.
- Strong strategic thinking skills and a solid understanding of business dynamics to align product initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Experience in building and managing high-performing product managers, with business cases and metrics as proof of results.
- Familiarity with user experience research, processes, and best practice
