**Aftermarket controller**

The role of Aftermarket controller is to support the Business Controller and Business Line Managers with accurate, relevant and timely analysis of profitability, variances, productivity and analytical reviews of aftermarket operation for parts, service and consumables. You will strive to maintain the highest quality of service accounting and reporting, as well as identifying variances in financial statements and corrective steps.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure accounting and reporting processes are organized to deliver accurate data for evaluation of aftermarket business and enabling correct business decision
- Perform analytical reviews of income statement and balance sheet, investigate variances and take measures to eliminate the variation
- Gross profit analysis, product and contracts profitability analysis
- Purchase Price variance analysis, Service variances per operation (costs and recovery), inventory revaluation
- service center P&L responsibility
- Close follow up of work in progress, closing of work orders, goods in transit, deferred revenue and advance payments.
- Assist with planning and expectancies and follow up of plan vs actual results
- Review and update of labor standard cost pricing

EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum of three years’ of service accounting, reporting and analytical experience
- Experience working in B2B aftermarket is an advantage
- Possess a high level of accounting knowledge (FAM, IFRS and GAAP) with the capacity to develop a solid understanding of our products, the market, the sales and service process and how these processes work within the structural regulatory framework established within Financial Accounting Manual.
- Experience working in the mining, heavy equipment or construction industries is highly preferred
- Experience working in accounting software and contact management systems
- Able to deliver solid conclusions with supporting documentation
- Advanced verbal, written and presentation communication skills

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline
- Knowledge of financial reporting and data analyzing
- Possess advanced skills using Microsoft Office products, (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and ERP (M3 advantage).
