**Markville Ford Lincoln, **a division of The Riley Automotive Group is hiring **a Pre-owned Vehicle Sales Manager. **This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team with excellent earning potential.

Our Flagship brand new state of the art facility is scheduled to be opened in June 2023, situated in the heart of Markham with the intersection of Kennedy Rd. and Hwy 7. We are one of the Top Volume Ford Lincoln dealerships in Canada.

**Responsibilities of Pre-owned Vehicle Sales Manager role**:

- Meeting the annual dealership sales forecasts which includes total vehicle sales, gross, volume and operating profits as well as expenses for used sales departments.
- Understand the market to stock used vehicle inventory accordingly
- Train and monitor the performance of the sales consultants, holding weekly sales meetings, and conducting sales training.
- Overseeing standards for displaying and merchandising used vehicles which includes reconditioning, time to market online, exit strategy per unit.
- Meeting weekly/monthly with the dealership’s General Manager to review forecasts and profits for Used department.
- Working directly with the General Manager on ensuring inventory turn are meeting set goals.
- Attending to customer complaints, ensuring that a high level of customer satisfaction is obtained.
- Approval and evaluating all appraisals of trade-in vehicles.
- Ensure and stay on top of all used vehicle deliveries are met by month end.
- Working and maintaining cordial relationship with Service and Parts department
- Acquisition plan and strategy are in place to ensure healthy volume of pre-owned units are available for sale.

**What You Offer**:

- Previous automotive sales management experience
- Valid OMVIC license required
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s License with good driving record
- Self-motivated, confident, and high level of customer-central enthusiasm
- Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
- Excellent listening skills
- Must have the ability to work evenings and Saturdays as scheduled
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Knowledgeable about provincial regulations and legislation, keeping abreast of any changes
- Proven track record for setting and achieving performance goals. Strong understanding of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Highly effective communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and negotiation skills in order to work with customers, colleagues and numerous outside suppliers and stakeholders
- Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
