The **Home Centre Clerk** will focus on providing outstanding customer service while providing a positive, professional approach and attitude. This individual will work cohesively with the Home Centre team by demonstrating day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co‑operative’s vision, mission, values, brand, with a focus on safety.

**Responsibilities**:

- Main focus will be cashier duties
- Other duties may include carry-outs and assisting customers on the floor as needed
- Availability to work a scheduled shift rotation including days, evenings and Saturdays
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
- High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
- Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
- Great team member who will always lead by positive example
- Maintain and display products according to standards
- Provide proper maintenance and sanitization of work area and equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.25-$20.03 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week

**Benefits**:

- Barrhead, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail Associates & Cashiers: 1 year (preferred)
- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
