**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Prepare internal and external financial statements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports including all journal entries
- Government remittances(tax,Payroll,etc) and WSIB remittances and timely payment
- Manage and update annual budget,forecast reports and ratios
- General ledger reconcilliation
- Profit/loss analysis including variance analysis
- Preparation of various production/operational reports
- Inventory( monitor, Count, reconcilliation)
- Preparation of cash flow analysis
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Verify and update A/p pricing and record approximately 40 invoices per day
- A/R cash receipt approximately 10 transactions per day
- Verify sales distribution and consignment reports
- Daily invoicing
- Manage payroll bi-weekly
- Weekly cheque run and EFT(approximately 30 transactions)
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports
- Update all GL codes,balance sheet and accounts
- Reconcilliation of statements and analyze
- Year-end inventory and reconcilliation
- Prepare and review monthly and Year-end financials with executive team
- Conduct audits and provide information to external auditors
- Communicate with vendors
- Prepare and discuss price increases for all customers
- Manually cost approximately 2500 inventory tickets

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage preferred)
- Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

**Salary**: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
