Job Summary

Support in the development of Category strategies and 5P’s based on Category and Brand Strategies and on robust CATEGORY, shopper and customer insight. Provide input on retailer perspective in the commercial process. Work closely with the BDM Team, Category Shopper Marketing, and Customer Management to develop strategies and tactics to grow the business in the specific Categories.

**Responsabilities**:
Identify and prioritize business opportunities through shopper/category insights for a specific category to be the expert in the category.
Support in the development of Sub category strategy and 5Ps, together with Category Shopper Marketing, based on Sub customer, shopper, and category expertise/insights.
Adapt category promotion activity grids and identify activities to grow the category and Sub customers.
Manage the GTN investment for the category, p.e. TPR’s, PPR’s, Business builders Direct & Indirect. Develop a Category Investment Strategy and track the KPI’s goals for pay-for-performance.
Consolidate the customer needs by category for inputs in commercial plans. Provide input on retailer perspective in the commercial process.
Develop 5P’s communication and KPI tracking tools for the CDT and to monitor plan execution. Develop course correction plans for the category together with CDT and Retail Shopper Marketing.
Identify and activate Category Growth Initiatives.
Support in the definition of Budget Review/MYR Volume plans & Financial Goals by Category aligned with the commercial team.
Identify gaps and solutions by Category in Monthly Commercial Meetings.
Develop robust category business analysis. (e.g.SOM, Distrib.) to be the expert on the business by Category.
Active role during the annual Commercial Planning process, specifically leading and owing the sample process, new item creation & displays process.

**Qualifications**:
**Level of Education**: Bachelor´s degree

**Years of experience**: 2+ years

**Functional Experience and Technical Skills**:

- Analytical experience to conduct category assessment and identify opportunities.
- Business knowledge and understanding on category and brand strategies to serve as input for the category strategies development.
- Proven ability to input (communication skills) and be the voice of category and customers’ needs in commercial process meetings
- Manage different promotions and activation at same time
- Able to build good relationship w/ CDT and Marketing to implement the strategies, to build activity grid and achieve Category objectives
- Work with Insights team to identify the Category knowledge and shopper behavior to build learning’s to be the expert in the Category and identify opportunities to grow.
- Financial knowledge (P&L) to recommend initiatives that bring financial results and understanding the impact on the business and ROI.
