Join the team at LuxLogic Lighting Inc., a dynamic and rapidly expanding lighting company. We're seeking a dedicated and hands-on Warehouse Lead/Supervisor to manage and actively participate in our operations in Markham, ON. This dual-role will involve both supervising daily logistics and a part-time staff member, as well as working directly with the inventory and LED light components.
- Key Responsibilities:_
- Actively manage and participate in daily warehouse operations
- Supervise a part-time warehouse staff member, while also collaborating as part of the team
- Liaise with manufacturers, particularly those based in China
- Guarantee safe and efficient organization of goods in the warehouse
- Make occasional adjustments to LED light components (training will be provided)
- Qualifications:_
- Superior communication skills in Mandarin and English, both verbal and written
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment is desirable
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- A keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Comfort in performing light technical work, such as adjusting LED light components
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
- Proven experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with Chinese manufacturers

- Additional Daily Tasks:_
- Actively manage and participate in import and export procedures/processes, liaising with brokers and freight carriers
- Oversee shipment receipts, including inspecting incoming shipments and updating the online database
- Facilitate order deliveries, including picking and packing orders, preparing necessary documents (such as waybills, bills of lading, packing slips, customs documents), scheduling deliveries, and updating the online database
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization, control inventory, and process returns
- Re-label products and packages as needed
- Assist electricians in testing defective fixtures or installing parts/accessories
- Operate forklift and pallet jacks (training will be provided)
- Perform other duties as assigned
