ABOUT THE ROLE
- Quality Auditor
- Insert Operator will report to the Associate Manager, Production
- Audit both processes and products and to report on conformance or adherence to the Quality Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform quality audits of in process and outgoing items prior to sign off and release
- Identify opportunities for improvement, and communicate risks to product Quality or systems to the Quality Manager
- Measure parts and maintain records of quality measurements, results and part conformance
- Help resolve quality related issues using problem solving activities and structured investigation
- Visual inspection capability to ensure quality products are produced
- Notify production sift Supervisor if deviations are noted from standards
- Check products using specified methods at various stages of assembly and notify Production Supervisor of problem
- Affix labels to completed production cartons
- Record daily work reports
- Report shortage of supplies to the Production Supervisor
- Remove garbage and break up empty boxes in order to keep work area tidy, so as not to detrimentally affect the condition and appearance of finished goods and to comply with standards required under the Health and Safety Act
- Follow documented company procedures for equipment operation and safety requirements
- Must become familiar with applicable rules and safety programs and follow prescribed Health and Safety procedures and participate in the process of identifying, reporting and assisting in eliminating risk to Health and Safety in the workplace.
- Perform other duties and special projects as required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
- Grade 12 or equivalency gained through alternate education
- 1+ years experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
- Preferred experience in an ISO 9001 injection moulding manufacturing facility
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, procedure manuals and personnel policies
- Mathematical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work with, train and motivate others

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Work weeks are 5 days, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
- Entitled to 2- 10 minute breaks and 1- 20 minute lunch
- May be required to work overtime with paid compensation to meet business needs
- Job will involve repetitive tasks, hand-eye coordination, attention to detail and manual dexterity
