**The Program**

Welcome to Ballad’s **Fundamentals of Supply Chain Operations** integrated training program, where you will be surrounded by like-minded professionals from various career backgrounds and learn in a challenging and collaborative environment. The Government of Alberta funds this course in partnership with the Government of Canada and is FREE to those who are approved.

**Program Details**

As a Supply Chain Operations Program participant, you will embark on an exciting journey with us, including 10 weeks of in-class training, with the option of 2 to 4 weeks of hands-on work experience with one of our industry partners. During the program, you will gain expertise in various aspects of supply chain operations, including:

- Warehouse Operations
- Inventory Control
- Logistics & Distribution Coordination
- Safety Certifications (WHMIS, TDG, Forklift)
- Industry exposure to various fields of Supply Chain

**Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive**:

- a Supply Chain Warehousing Certificate from the Association of Supply Chain Management (ASCM)
- a one-year ASCM membership
- a Certificate of Completion of Ballad’s Fundamentals of Supply Chain Operations
- customised Job Placement support by our dedicated program team

With your newly gained or enhanced technical skills, soft skills development, and direct industry exposure you will be on your way to the career in the supply chain industry you are seeking.

**Qualifications**:
The Fundamentals of Supply Chain Operations program is designed for you if you are:

- A Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident
- Currently unemployed and eligible to collect regular EI benefits
- Interested in starting or advancing your career in the supply chain industry
- Dedicated to completing 12 weeks of training in Warehousing, Inventory Management, Logistics & Distribution and Procurement.
- Would like help with resume building, job search techniques and interview skills
- Ready and willing to connect directly with employers.
