**Position**:Overnight Baker

**Responsibilities**:

- Check production list and manage production without supervision to meet daily needs
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of French-inspired pastries, including croissants, pain au chocolat, and other delectable treats
- Produce and garnish pastries, viennoiserie, bread, sandwiches as instructed/needed
- Infuse your creations with the essence of French baking while incorporating our innovative twist
- Follow recipes and ensure the consistent quality of baked goods
- Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and sanitized to maintain high standards of hygiene
- Collaborate with the team to plan and execute baking schedules efficiently
- Monitor inventory and inform the management about ingredient needs
- Exhibit creativity and innovation to develop new and exciting pastry offerings

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in an artisanal bakery or similar environment or a professional degree in culinary, pastry, bread/viennoiserie
- Expertise in making breads, with a deep understanding of French baking techniques
- Ability to work overnights, starting at 11 pm, to ensure our bakery is ready for the day
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and delicious breads
- A team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays when necessary

**Salary**: $15.30-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
