**The impact you will have**:
The bilingual MS Knowledge Network Navigator is the first point of contact for the organization. This role guides individuals to appropriate resources, programs, and services and provides critical front-line support to Canadians living with and impacted by MS.
**Key Areas of Impact**:
- Continuously maintains current and accurate knowledge about the organization and MS knowledge network to respond effectively to inquiries.
- Provides excellent standards of service by guiding MS community members to a broad variety of resources from the MS network, such as current programs, supports, and services.
- Proactively and continuously collects and disseminates information and resources on MS knowledge.
- Assesses and documents MS community members needs and concerns and help guide MS community members with issues they encounter.
- Is fluent in English and French (written and verbal) for business operations across Canada
- Has knowledge and experience working with persons affected by MS or individuals with other chronic illnesses or disability (considered an asset)
- Demonstrates exceptional skills for active listening, effective knowledge transfer, and empathetic communication, both verbal and written
- Has strong knowledge of the social service sector and health, government and community services
- Exhibits excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and experience with managing distress/crisis situations
- Displays a high level of computer skills, keyboarding, and operating within a database
- Exhibits the ability to engage in, and apply, continuous learning related to multiple sclerosis, and its management
- Is self-motivated and a multi-tasker with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Displays solid research skills and ability to analyze and synthesize complex information appropriate for various audiences
