Orthotic Lab Technician

We are currently seeking a reliable, hard-working production worker for our expanding operation. In this role, you will be a valuable part of our production team, ensuring our production quotas are met in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. You will need to be reliable, punctual, and able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive.

The successful applicant will be responsible for operating production line equipment, finishing products and reporting any issues directly to Production Manager. All qualified, responsible applicants are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Read and follow design spec
- Assemble goods on production lines
- Glue accommodations, postings, mid-layers and top covers
- Operate grinders and/or bench grinders to finish products
- Make adjustments to orthotics as required
- Prepare materials related to production
- Carry out quality and testing checks
- Reach daily goals for orders completed
- Miscellaneous production support tasks
- Monitor inventory of their materials and report to Production Manager as needed
- Maintain work areas and equipment/machinery
- Work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy
- Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals
- Able to work overtime as needed

- Able to understand oral and written instructions in English
- High attention to detail
- Self-management with mínimal supervision
- Work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong work ethic
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Reliable and punctual

- Experience working with belt sanders, band saws or buffing wheels preferred

**Working Conditions**
- Work standing for long periods
- Dusty and noisy machinery
- Glue odors

- production: 1 year (preferred)
- bench grinder: 1 year (preferred)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
