Compass Access Solutions Ltd. is a thriving organization that provides innovative solutions for swamp mats, logistics, transportation and more. As an industry leader throughout Western Canada, we are looking to add a **Mat Building Supervisor** to our growing team.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Conducting morning safety meetings
- Leading, coordinating, and participating in the assembly of mat building, ensuring quality control and production targets
- Overseeing the scheduling and daily tasks and workflows of mat building crew(s)
- Assisting in the operation of the mat washer and water system and ensuring adequate cross-training within the division
- Tracking and maintaining inventory on lumber, lumber cut(s), and new mat builds
- Determining inefficiencies and improving current processes
- Handling and transporting matting and various materials
- Operating hand tools, forklift and wheel loader in a safe manner
- Following company HSE requirements and procedures
- Cleaning of equipment, matting facility, yard and assisting in other areas as needed

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Previous lumber/manufacturing experience and a general understanding of matting construction would be an asset
- Ability to make decisions and diagnose problems
- Ability to motivate personnel, lead by example and promote a positive company image
- Self-motivation, strong attention to detail and safety conscious
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Strong organizational, administrative, interpersonal and prioritization skills
- Willing and able to work in a team setting and help out where needed
- Desire and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job and work in a drug and alcohol-free environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
