We are hiring an **Assistant, Human Resources **to join our Toronto Campus. This position will assist with recruitment, with a focus on instructor and employee hiring, while also assisting with day-to-day HR duties.
**What You Will Do**
- Perform full cycle recruitment activities, including but not limited to hiring requests, job description updates, job postings, resume sourcing, phone screening, interviewing, reference checks, and employment agreement preparation.
- Ensure proper onboarding for new hires and the necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately.
- Upload and maintain employee information in the HR management system.
- Input, upload and update employee database and prepare reports.
- Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding and new employee orientation, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
- Implement and execute HR policies as set by the Corporate Human Resources department.
- Maintain confidentiality with all employment-related matters within the organization.
- Work with the campus leadership on various events and initiatives throughout the year that support and improve employee engagement.
**What You Will bring**
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or relevant field.
- Minimum of 1 year of exposure in talent acquisition or the field of HR with a proven track record of success.
- Holds or working towards CHRP designation.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and HRIS.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Team player with a client-centric mindset and positive attitude.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- A good understanding of employment legislation and regulations (ESA, OHSA, Ontario Human Rights Code, AODA, etc.)
