**RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES**
- Practice food safety at all times, prepare and provide well balanced and nutritious meals and snacks which meet the needs of our children and the Canadian Food Guide.
- Provide active and safe supervision of all children during special cooking and baking experiences.
- Facilitate the development of self-esteem by expressing respect, acceptance, and comfort for all children.
- Cleaning responsibilities such as dishes, laundry, etc.
- Follow our monthly budget guidelines and the Cook will also be responsible to grocery shop and pickup the order.
- Flexible in job assignment and cooperative with other staff.
- Cover educator’s breaks if needed.

Education/Qualifications:
Must have valid class 5 drivers license and have personal vehicle.

ECE Level I
Food Safety Certificate
Criminal Record Check including vulnerable sector check, dated within 3 months of hire

WORK CONDITIONS
The working hours for the Nutrition Specialist will be Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm. Lilium Village supports personal advancement and work-life balance for our employees. We offer full time staff immediate access to benefits, sick time, pension, and ongoing training opportunities.

**Salary**: $18.56-$22.06 per hour
