**Quality Control Coordinator**
The Quality Control Coordinator provides overall direction, administration, and coordination of the project quality control plan to ensure compliance with applicable company, contract, and government regulations and leads the day-to-day project quality control coordination for all phases through the closeout of the project.

**How will you contribute to the team?**
Implements a quality control system to ensure compliance with quality standards and/or contract-specific documents to maximize quality and reliability and minimize costs.
Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality control plan. Recommend and implement improvements when required.
Reviews issued for construction drawings, calculations, and shop drawings and ensure all concerned project staff has current versions of documents applicable to their part of the work.
Oversees quality testing and inspections, evaluates engineering, procurement, and construction activities, and resolves any quality control issues that may arise.
Provide cost estimates for project deliverables to analyze the best approach and improve budget information for the project staff.
Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities including testing schedules and procedures.
Reviews and evaluates subcontractors' and suppliers' adherence to quality procedures and standards. Initiates stop work order and directs the removal and replacement of non-conforming work.
Facilitates the submittal process and ensures that submittals meet the contract and project requirements and are submitted to the Consultants as required and in a timely manner.
Prepare and submit monthly quality control reports to the Consultant in a timely and accurate manner.
Attend project meetings with the Client and their representatives concerning matters of QA/QC and contract specification interpretations.
**Education & Experience**:Certified Engineering Technologist (_C.E.T._), P.Eng. or equivalent
Minimum of 4 years of work experience on-site or general construction
Experience managing shop drawing review is required
Technical knowledge of materials and construction processes.
Knowledge of contract specifications and building code requirements.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
Highly organized, detail-oriented, proficient in problem-solving
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
**Working Conditions**:Site based position
Personal protective equipment (ie. hardhat, safety boots) is required at all times.
