**Job Title**:Public Relations / Community Event Planner.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement effective public relations strategies to enhance the college's reputation and visibility.
- Cultivate positive relationships with media outlets, community leaders, and stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and public sentiment, providing regular reports to the leadership team.
- Serve as a spokesperson for the college when needed and handle media inquiries.
- Stay current on industry trends and recommend innovative approaches to promote the college.
- Coordinate and execute a diverse range of events, including academic conferences, cultural events, workshops, seminars, and social gatherings.
- Manage all logístical aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual setups, transportation, and accommodation arrangements.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Work closely with different departments, student organizations, and external vendors to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and utilize various channels to increase awareness and attendance at events.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement. Ensure that all events adhere to college policies, regulations, and safety standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in an academic or private college setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software.
